What's New For the 2020 Chevrolet Tahoe?
The Chevrolet Tahoe is one of the most beloved large SUVs out there. In 2020, this vehicle remains relatively unchanged. There are two new wheel options available, however. Drivers can now go with either stylish 22" gloss-black aluminum wheels featuring custom silver accents or eye-catching 22" machined aluminum wheels with a bright silver finish if desired. This year's model is part of the fourth generation of the iconic Tahoe, which first debuted in 2015.

The Tahoe Has Many Features Across Several Trims
There are three members of the 2020 Chevrolet Tahoe family. The entry-level trim is the LS, and it is very well-equipped. Smartphone integration is simple thanks to the standard Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. It also comes with tri-zone automatic climate control and a remote start system. Those interested in a vehicle with seating for nine should go with the LS because it is available with three bench seats.
The drivers' next choice is the LT, which adds nice touches such as leather and heated front bucket seats. It also gets a power liftgate with programmable height memory. There are two packages available for this trim exclusively. First is the Z71 Off-Road package, which adds all-terrain tires, an upgraded suspension, and more. The second is the Luxury package, which adds desirable interior options to the Tahoe. Finally, drivers can choose the Premier trim level. On top of comfort features like ventilated front seats, this trim adds a Magnetic Ride Control suspension.2020 Chevy Tahoe Power & Performance
For 2020, the Tahoe has two powerful engine options. The standard one is a 5.3L V8 that will give drivers a thrilling 355-horsepower and 383 lb-ft of torque. This works with a six-speed automatic transmission. The other option here is a 6.2L V8. With this underneath the hood, the Tahoe is capable of 420-horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque. Models with this engine also get a ten-speed automatic transmission. Models with the 5.3L V6 and rear-wheel-drive are capable of towing up to a very impressive 8,600 pounds. Going with all-wheel-drive will only drop this number down to 8,400 pounds.
Which Safety Features are Available on the Tahoe?
A rear-vision camera is included in all models of the Tahoe. Also standard is rear park assist. There are also many advanced driver aids that can be added to certain trim levels. Examples include automatic emergency braking, forward collision alert, and rear cross-traffic alert. Also available is lane change alert with side blind zone alert. This helps by alerting drivers when a rapidly approaching vehicle is detected in one of the blind zones.
