Specs at a Glance
2025 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LT vs 2025 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 High Country
Chevrolet's latest Silverado is the most advanced truck in its history. It offers up to 13,300 pounds of towing capacity, 2,260 pounds of payload capability, and delivers 495 lb-ft of torque. Still, not every Silverado 1500 trim is built to the same spec. The LT trim will present a very different package compared to the High Country trim, especially in terms of appearance and interior comfort.
Performance
LT and High Country trims each come with their own engine and transmission setups. The High Country is fitted with a standard 10-speed automatic transmission featuring electronic precision shift, whereas the LT has an 8-speed automatic transmission. Under the hood, LT trims include a TurboMax engine rated at 310 horsepower and 430 lb-ft of torque. High Country trims are equipped with a 5.2L EcoTec3 V8 engine producing 355 horsepower and 383 lb-ft of torque. Only the High Country can be configured with the optional 6.2L EcoTec3 V8 engine, which delivers 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque.
Appearance
As the third trim level in the Silverado 1500 range, the LT model provides excellent value but does not match the High Country's commanding exterior styling. Standard features on the High Country include 18" Gloss Black AEV wheels, LED headlamps, a body-color rear bumper, and chrome door handles. The LT trim still offers attractive elements, such as a chrome front bumper, an EZ Lift assist power lock-and-release tailgate, and heated power outside mirrors. Both trims feature LED bed lighting for enhanced nighttime visibility.
Features
It's tough to beat the Silverado 1500 when it comes to features. The truck is designed to impress both inside and out. The interior amenities of the LT and High Country are vastly different. High Country trims feature a Bose premium audio system, rear carpeted floor mats, a front center console, and perforated leather seats. Conversely, the LT includes a 6-speaker audio system, dual-zone automatic climate control, and cloth upholstery. Whether you're looking for a value-focused, comfortable ride or a fully loaded High Country experience, the Silverado 1500 can be tailored to your preferences. Our sales experts are available to break down the differences between the LT and High Country so you know exactly what each offers.
